“Broken bottles, broken plates,
Broken switches, broken gates,
Broken dishes, broken parts,
Streets are filled with broken hearts.
Broken words never meant to be spoken,

Powerful words, written by Bob Dylan, describing the world that we all live in. Yet, Dylan’s description is incomplete because it does not include the radical invasion of God’s grace into this broken world in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. His transforming grace rescues us from us and empowers us to face the difficult realities of life where “everything is broken” with hope and courage. This is what Paul Tripp Ministries is about. We believe in the practical, heart and life transforming power of Jesus Christ and we want to help you learn how to live in light of that power in the situations and relationships that make up and define daily life. Through conferences every weekend and the ongoing production of practical life resources, we do all we can to connect you to what can only be found in Christ; transforming grace.

We are so thankful for what we have learned over the past year and for many new doors of opportunity that have been opened for us. This summer we will travel to Brazil, for a week, and to South Africa, for four weeks, for conferences, leadership training and preaching. In October we will be in Northern Ireland for a variety of ministry events. We are excited that a hunger for the practical Gospel for the heart is international and we have found that the Gospel is able to bridge differences of location, situation, and culture. At the same time we are faced with the fact that these trips are very costly in time and money. We have many more opportunities that we cannot accept because we simply cannot afford to do them. Pray with us that God will supply what is needed so that we may say “yes” to hungry and needy ministries around the world.

If you heard someone say that a marriage of unity, love and understanding was not rooted in romance, but rooted in worship, what would you think? 300 people gathered in Wichita Kansas to hear a very different perspective on marriage than they had ever heard. The conference was called “Marriage There Really is a Better Way.” Again and again the attendees were invited to look in the mirror of the Word of God to see their marriage in ways that they had not seen it before. What does it mean to say a marriage is shaped by worship? How does that help me to know where change is needed? And what have I been given in Christ to make the changes that are necessary? These questions and more were answered in Wichita. Are you connecting the grace of Christ to the way people in your church approach their marriages, parenting, friendships, communication, and community in the Body of Christ? Each weekend we help people make that connection.
